About Jane Hunter and the Mask of Montezuma

Jane Hunter and the Mask of Montezuma is an online slot developed by Pragmatic Play, featuring a 5-reel layout and 10 fixed paylines. Players can place bets ranging from £0.10 to £5.00 per spin. The game includes high volatility, with wins awarded from left to right across adjacent reels. All game rules, special features, and payouts are detailed below.

Betting and Paylines

  • Minimum bet per spin: £0.10
  • Maximum bet per spin: £5.00
  • There are 10 fixed paylines, paying left to right from the leftmost reel.

Game Rules

  • Wins pay for matching symbols that land on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel.
  • Only the highest win per payline is awarded.
  • If wins occur on multiple paylines, they are added together to form the total win.
  • Payouts from Free Spins and other bonus rounds are added to line wins.
  • Displayed win amounts are shown as actual coins.

The Pick Bonus Game

  • The Bonus symbol only appears on reel 5 during the base game.
  • When a Bonus symbol lands, one of five chests is presented. Each chest contains either:
    • An instant prize: a money award of 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 30x, or 40x total bet.
    • Or, access to the Free Spins feature, awarding 10, 15, or 20 starting free spins.

Free Spins Feature

  • The Free Spins round can be activated by landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols, which award 10, 15, or 20 free spins, respectively.
  • During Free Spins, the four premium symbols become MONEY symbols, each with its own starting value and upgrade path:
    • Jane Hunter: Starts at 10x total bet. The value increases by 5x with each level up. The meter fills after collecting 13 symbols for the first level, then increases by three symbols for each subsequent upgrade.
    • Backpack: Starts at 5x total bet. Value increases by 3x with each level up. The initial meter requires 11 symbols, then three more per level.
    • Tools: Begins at 3x total bet. Increases by 2x per level up. The meter starts at 9 symbols and adds two for each new level.
    • Binoculars: Begins at 2x total bet. The value rises by 1x per level up. Seven symbols fill the first meter, then two more for each further level.
  • If a Wild symbol appears together with one or more MONEY symbols, the values of all MONEY symbols present are collected and awarded.
  • All MONEY symbols gathered during Free Spins are tracked, with their values increasing as their respective meters fill.
  • Free Spins may be retriggered by landing an additional 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols for 10, 15, or 20 extra spins.
  • The Bonus feature is not available during Free Spins. Special reels are in use throughout the feature.

Maximum Win Cap

  • The maximum win achievable in both the base game and Free Spins is limited to 5,000x the total bet.
  • If the total win during Free Spins reaches 5,000x bet, the round ends immediately and any remaining features are not played.
